Looking up your Birth Card

The cards that govern each day of the year are fixed. In other words, if the King of Clubs governs January 27th, it does so for every year, as opposed to being different on different years. In addition, some cards only govern one day of the year, such as the Ace of Hearts and King of Spades, while others, such as the Ten of Clubs, govern twelve days of the year. There are formulas that determine how these cards are determined but for now just keep in mind that these dates are not arbitrary in any way. If you take the time to study the cards that fall on each day, you will begin to notice a certain pattern emerging from the dates and cards. This document makes it easy to find out about your Birth and Destiny Card. What we are offering here is a brief, condensed description of each of the Birth Cards. There are actually many more things to learn about the Birth Cards that help to explain the specific karmic patterns that they represent. The interpretations given here are some of the most common expressions of each of the Birth Cards but they will not seem to fit in every single case because there are other ways that a particular karmic pattern can manifest. For example, if my Birth Card is one which usually cannot make a commitment in relationships, I will either be non-committal myself, or I will repeatedly attract partners who cannot make commitments. Essentially, the quality of non-commitment is within me, but it has manifested externally as reflected in my partner's behavior instead of in my own actions. As you read the descriptions of the Birth Cards, you will note that in many cases I make reference to the following, and I will clarify here what some of these references represent: To find your birth card you can click here and select the birth month and day by following the menus.

Birth Card Spread

Also know as 'Yearly Spreads' are the Cards of Your Destiny for this year of your life. This Yearly Spread contains the actual cards of your destiny-the cards that tell you what is going to happen to you, when it is going to happen and who it is going to happen with. There is at least one Yearly Spread for year of your life. But for a more accurate reading a Yearly Spread is done for your birth card, your planetary ruling card and your personality cards.

Karma Cards

Each of us have two or more Karma Cards that have several functions. First of all, we share some of the same attributes as our Karma Cards. Therefore, it is a good idea to study the information on our Karma Cards to learn more about ourselves. The second function is that when we meet someone whose Birth Card is one of our Karma Cards, there is a strong possibility that there is a karmic debt to settle between us. One will be doing the giving and the other the receiving. In most cases the Karma Card that is listed as the first one is the one that we owe something to while the second one is the one that owes us something.

The Life Spread of Life Path Cards

Our Life Spread or Life Path Cards are a group of either 16 or 17 cards that describe our personality traits and karmic pattern for this lifetime. These cards are arranged so that some of them influence certain periods of our lifetime called planetary periods, each of which last approximately 13 years, while other cards influence our entire lifetime as a whole. The Life Spreads are also used to determine relationship compatibilities.

The Grand Solar Spread

When the entire deck of 52 cards are arranged in the structure laid out by The Order of the Magi, they form a layout called the Grand Solar Spread. It is from this layout that al the readings of the cards are based.

The Order of the Magi

This ancient fellowship existed as far back as Atlantis and are responsible for the preservation and dissemination of many of the esoteric sciences including astrology, numerology, and the Science of the Cards.

The Mundane Spread

The Mundane Spread is essentially the same thing as the Life Spread. It is the second of the Grand Solar Spreads that the entire deck of cards arranged so that one can read the life patterns of the individual cards in the deck. It is from the Mundane Spread that the Life Spread or Life Path Cards are taken, which not only describe our personality traits and Karmic patterns, but also tell us what will be the general nature of the different periods of our life.

The Natural Spread

The Natural Spread is the first of the Grand Solar Spreads, the one in which all the cards are put into their natural order, from the Ace of Hearts to the King of Spades. It is from the Natural Spread that many past life influences are detected and interpreted.
